Regarding the police incident: this was our first occasion of 'Bakshish' in India... We were sure the drive is going to be nice and easy, but it turned out to be quite a ride, with going on a 'highway' (Indian highway, meaning the average speed is 60 Km/h) on the way. So stupid of us but we forgot Hagay's drivers license and the bike's docs in Arambol... So on the highway suddenly a cop signals us to stop... We stopped like good children and when he found out we had no license he told us to go back to our guest house to bring the license but leave the bike with him (!) When we said it is not possible for us he said "OK, 1000 rupee fine!" that's where we started arguing and Inbal smiled at the cops so we ended by paying bakshish (less than they wanted but still too much !) and went on our way happy... and then 50 Km south another police stopped us, and again asks for documents and again we say we don't have and again he suggests we run marathon back to bring the docs or we need to pay... This time we were more assertive and we told him we already paid to another cop so we shouldn't pay. Believe it or not - the guy went to consult with his fellow cops in the Jeep and when he came back he said we can go and even was polite enough to show us the way !!!

So kids - when you take a bike in Goa don't forget the license !!! :)
